Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my deep concern caused by the closure of the playground in Sherwood housing estate. I totally disagree with the opinion that the playground is an unnecessary investment for the local authorities.
In my opinion, this facility should definitely remain open, as it plays a crucial role in the everyday lives of local residents. The playground is not only a place where children can spend their free time in a safe and enjoyable way, but also an important space that brings the community together. Closing it would negatively affect both children and their parents, depriving them of a convenient and accessible place for recreation and social interaction. For these reasons, I strongly believe that the playground should not be removed.
Firstly, the playground is a safe and well-equipped place where children can spend their free time actively and enjoyably. It is regularly visited by many young people, which proves how important it is for the local community. Another compelling arguemnt is that it is the only playground in the area adapted for disabled children. Special equipment, such as extra handles and accessible paths, allows all children to play together. As a result, this place is not only safe, but also inclusive and valuable for everyone.
In conclusion, having an easily accessible safe playground in the neighbourhood is always an advantage both for kids and their parents.I would be grateful if you could publish my letter. Perhaps other readers would like to share their opinions which, in turn, might make the local authorities reconsider their decision.
I look forward to receiving your reply.
Yours
faithfully,
XYZ
